QUALITATIVE RESEARCH

We conducted interviews with eight potential users, ranging in age from 15 to 60, to learn about the difficulties they experienced when opening a DEMAT & Meroshare account. The collection of sample questions is below.

Questions

  • What is your age?
  • What is your profession?
  • What is your education level?
  • Do you use smartphone or laptop?
  • How many times do you go bank?
  • Can you fill up the form of banks (KYC form)?
  • How do you spend your time on holiday?
  • What are the problems you faced while going to the bank?
  • Do you know about share market?
  • Do you have meroshare account?
  • Are you planning to create a share account?  If NO, why? If Yes, how?
  • What would be easier for you to create a share account?

Key Insights

  • Even well-read individuals struggle with filling out the form, so they had to approach the front desk employee for clarification.
  • Going to the bank and filling out the form takes a long time for people.
  • It takes almost a week to create those accounts, which causes users to abandon the form.
  • Most of the people don’t know where to start.

QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH

In order to see how similar potential customers' needs were, we conducted surveys and interviews. It is predicated on the 25 individuals who helped us gain a clearer understanding of a problem.

How often do you visit banks?
What is your preferred method of filling out the form?
When did you start investing on share market?

A persona is generally based on the user research and incorporates the needs, goals, and observed behavior patterns of the target audience.

Used empathy mapping to understands and prioritize user needs. It helps to get closer to what user thinks and feels.

  • “ I don’t have time to visit the bank and stock markets. ”
